Reclaiming the World’s Water 2021 Virtual Conference

Virtual Education Conference

Newterra is pleased to offer our Virtual Education Conference for 2021. It will take place on the last week in October and the 3rd week in November. In addition to 6 Educational Sessions (each qualifies for Engineering Credits through the RCEP Program), we will be hosting 2 round table talks, facility tours (virtual), and some product-specific webinars/content around the topics of water.

Currently, we will be offering the following subjects through the RCEP program:

  1. Stormwater Management for Industry
  2. Basic Water Treatment for Power Engineering (Boilers)
  3. Deaerators – Everything you wanted to know
  4. Efficient mixing with surface mixers
  5. Emerging Contaminants
  6. Biological Treatment Designs

We will post specific information on the program on our Reclaiming the World’s Water 2021 page.

Rain is the New Liability

Across much of North America, rainfall has become more than just a weather event. In regions like California, Oregon, British Columbia, and parts of the Northeastern U.S., regulators increasingly treat storms as compliance triggers. Industrial facilities are being held accountable for the quality of the water that leaves their sites—and the consequences of falling short are becoming more tangible.

When Small Communities Face Big Infrastructure Challenges

The appeal of decentralized systems goes beyond just feasibility. For smaller or rural municipalities, they offer meaningful advantages in three critical areas: speed, resilience, and operability.
