Newterra announces acquisition of Aeration Industries International, LLC

Newterra, a leader in decentralized and modular water, wastewater, and groundwater remediation solutions, announced today that it has acquired Aeration Industries International, LLCAeration Industries is an internationally recognized leader in wastewater aeration and mixing solutions serving the industrial, municipal, and aquaculture markets. Aeration Industries has been owned by Granite Equity Partners of St. Cloud, MN, since 2010.

The acquisition will further diversify Newterra’s revenue mix and strengthen its growing industrial footprint, highlighted by expansion into new international markets, increased presence in industrial wastewater treatment, and adding a strong presence in the fast-growing global aquaculture market. Together, the companies have more than 220 highly-trained water professionals with experience operating in over 110 countries. The combined company will leverage shared resources and work together to offer expanded services and solutions through uniting its manufacturers’ representative network to its growing list of satisfied customers.
