Award: MicroClear MBR 125,000 GPD system in New York

Newterra has been awarded a new project for a 125,000 GPD (470 m3/d) MBR in New York State. The system is designed for a daily maximum flow of 250,000 GPD, and will treat municipal sewage to a discharge limit of < 5 mg/l BOD and TSS, with total Nitrogen <10 mg/l.

The system will be supplied skid mounted, with the two trains of MicroClear Membranes located in a below-ground tank. Newterra will supply the PLC control system and instrumentation for the plant.
