Newterra Industrial Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems provides effective, continuous dissolved solids recovery up to 80%+ in a modular small footprint design.  The Industrial Systems can accommodate a wide range of feed water qualities with either a single or double pass and offer you very consistent permeate quality for increased boiler blow-down and reduced scaling.

Product Overview

Newterra’s CIRO™ (Configurable Industrial Reverse Osmosis) Systems provide cutting-edge water purification technology for industrial applications, effectively removing a wide range of contaminants, including dissolved salts, bacteria, and particles. These systems utilize a high-pressure pump to force water through semi-permeable membranes, capturing impurities and allowing only clean water to pass through. Designed for efficiency and reliability, CIRO™ Systems are capable of handling varying feed water qualities, ensuring consistent output of high-purity water. Their modular design allows for easy scalability to meet increased demand, while advanced monitoring and control features ensure optimal performance and minimize maintenance requirements. Ideal for industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and electronics manufacturing, Newterra’s CIRO™ Systems offer a sustainable solution for achieving stringent water quality standards.

  • 300-psig rated fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) reverse osmosis vessels
  • Spiral-wound high-rejection thin-film polyamide reverse osmosis elements
  • 5-micron nominal stainless-steel body pre-treatment cartridge filter with isolation valves
  • Vertical, multi-stage centrifugal booster pump with stainless steel (SS) wetted parts, VFD starter and manual isolation valves
  • Lug-style pneumatically actuated feed butterfly valve with stainless steel disc & stem, ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) seat, steel body and two-way National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) 4 Underwriters’ Laboratories (UL) certified 24V solenoid
  • Stainless steel globe valve for reject flow control
  • NSF International (NSF) certified paddlewheel-style flowmeters (on feed and product) with polypropylene body (> 100 psig rated up to 120oF), fluoroelastomer (FKM) O-rings, Titanium pin, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) rotor, UL certified
  • Schedule 80 polyvinyl chloride (PVC) low-pressure piping with 304 SS piping on high-pressure lines
  • Cartridge feed/discharge, RO feed, interstage, reject and product pressure gauges (2.5” dial, stainless case, glycerin filled)
  • Manual sample ports on permeate from each vessel with PVC ball valves
  • Epoxy-coated steel skid frame
  • Conductivity sensor with polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) national pipe tapered threads (NPT) mount, NEMA 4X enclosure, Conformité Européenne (CE) certified
  • Optional Polyethylene tank-based clean-in-place system complete with cleaning pump, electric heater, diaphragm flow control valve and PVC piping
