Product Overview
Granular Activated Carbon Media
- Newterra has an extensive line of granular activated carbon (GAC) filter media for liquid phase and vapor phase adsorption applications.
- We supply virgin coconut activated carbon, coal-based GAC, and reactivated carbon for various adsorption processes.
- We deliver carbon in amounts ranging from 55 lb bags to bulk-activated carbon orders in the tens of thousands of pounds.
Active Media
- Our oil absorption media consists of either modified clay or zeolite. Oil absorption media can remove 80-90% of the undissolved oil in an influent water stream.
- Trace metal removal media is available for liquid-phase applications. All trace metal removal media can produce greater than 90% removal efficiencies for adsorbates
Non-Active Media
- The Newterra Gravel and Sand Filtration Media can reduce suspended solids in applications with particles above 10 microns. Smaller particles down to 5 microns may be controlled using garnet or zeolite. Packages are available with anthracite to increase capacity.
